Today was Game Day for me and Rocco. Rocco loves Game Days because he loves seeing his friends and getting a lot of attention from all of them. Today though, instead of there being almost 8 people there it was just Teagan, Liz, and myself. This weeks Game Day was out at Teagan's house and she lives basically in the country. So Rocco had his first encounter with horses and chickens. He was a lot more interested in the chickens that he was the horses. But he did like staring at Teagan's really fat mare. He also met a 3 year old Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix named Zelda, her daughter named Ziva, and an old and crotchety chocolate lab named Java. Ziva was an adorable 15 week Chocolate Lab. She and Rocco had a lot of fun playing with each other, but I didn't let Rocco off his leash or his Halti because he is sooooo much bigger than her.
This is Ziva. Isn't she cute?
Anyway, that was our day today. We had a lot of fun and I think that Rocco really liked those horses. Maybe he'll go to a person on a farm.
Don't forget to head over to my Name Game and make your guess as to who our newest member of our group will be.
I just saw a picture of Rocco on GDB's blog. It's such a CUTE photo- he looks so happy! He sure knows how to smile :)
ReplyDeleteI remember when Don first saw a horse, and he tried to get it to play with him. He kept play-bowing and got so excited- very funny.
What a great experience for Rocco! Good boy!!
